June/July 2010 Prayer Requests and Praises

boston

Good News Across America project manager, John Luck, shares the following prayer requests and praises.

As I write this update I am sitting in the Logan International Airport awaiting my flight back to Richmond. The last three days we have been visiting partnering churches to encourage them and make sure they understand all that needs to be done in preparation for the Boston '10 outreach. It is a blessing to be here, sense the excitement and see the passion of the church people for God to do a tremendous work in our midst.

There are several HUGE praises that come at the end of this trip:
  • As of last night, we were able to confirm our 30th church partnership! The Lord has given us a great group of partnering churches that are all over the greater Boston area. The churches are a great cross-section of Boston:  urban, suburban, Hispanic, Brazilian, multiethnic, Caucasian, large and small. They all have in common their desire to share Jesus Christ with children and families of their community and we are excited about the divine appointments which are before us.
  • Daily we are adding more volunteers with over 140 already registered. If you are reading this update and plan to come to Boston but have not yet registered, please do so today.

As you pray, please remember these things:
  • Pray for the GNAA team as we move into the final preparation stage for Boston 2010.   There are tons of details which need to come together, so please pray for wisdom, strength and endurance.
  • Pray for the Lord to begin even now to touch the hearts of children and families with whom we will come in contact this summer.
  • Pray for the key contacts at the churches as they plan the details for their church.
  • Pray for God's provision for those who are raising money to come to Boston.
  • Pray for safe transportation of all the teams to Boston.

If you could travel along with me, you would have the joy of seeing so many evidences of God's blessing on Boston '10. Let's continue to trust Him to do something that is clear evidence of His hand.

Blessings,

John Luck
